What happens when my QR is scanned or my unique website is typed in?
When someone scans or types in your unique website, they land on a secure page. Then they fill a secure form — and you're notified immediately via Email. If you told them about Rtnit2.me and they scan your QR code / typed in your unique number they have the option to order the service as well and after 4 new users you get another free year with us! It's all tracked on your dashboard page.
How do notifications work?
The moment someone scans your QR or inputs your unique number, we send you an email.
How is this different from a regular QR code?
Regular QR codes just show a URL. Return It To Me - Rtnit2.me QR codes take the user to your unique and anonymous website on our system where we record every scan, notify you instantly, let finders leave a secure message — all in one dashboard.
Are the owner's details shared with the finder?
No. The owner's personal contact details are never shown to finders. Finders can only use the secure contact form and the owner is notified via email.
What products do you sell?
We sell QR code stickers, keychains, and clothing stamps. The QR Kit includes 100 stickers, 4 keychains, and 1 Clothing Stamp. Extra keychains are available for $5 each — they must be ordered at the same time as your kit. If ordering later, include your Rtnit2.me number (e.g. Rtnit2.me/12345).
What are courier return arrangements?
When someone finds your item and wants to return it, we help arrange a courier. You (the owner) pay for shipping and will be given choices of how to ship it. Both finder and owner stay anonymous — we coordinate everything between you.
How do I get more free years with Rtnit2.me?
Tell your friends! When they scan your code or type in your unique website they get the option of joining and their joining gets credited to you! Get 4 and you get another free year. It's all tracked on your dashboard page.
Is my data safe? (GDPR note)
Yes. We are GDPR compliant and never sell your data to third parties. Your personal information is stored securely and only used to notify you when someone finds your item. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@rtnit2.me.
