1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using rtnit2.me ("Service", "Platform"), creating an account, or purchasing any product, you ("User", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and purchasers.

2. Service Description

Return It To Me (operating at rtnit2.me) provides a QR-based lost-and-found platform. Users may:

• Create personal QR profiles linked to their belongings
• Attach QR codes, stickers, keychains, or clothing stamps to items they own
• Receive notifications when a finder scans or submits details through their QR profile
• Communicate with finders only through email through our system

We also sell physical QR kits including stickers, keychains, and fabric clothing stamps.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use
• One account per person — duplicate accounts may be terminated

4. User Responsibilities

• Use the Service only for its intended purpose (lost-and-found)
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Provide truthful information in all finder submissions and profile data
• Not use the platform to harass, deceive, or defraud other users or finders
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws

5. Prohibited Uses

You expressly agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
• Impersonate any person, entity, or organization
• Upload or transmit malicious software, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission

6. Non-Compete and Non-Solicitation

Specifically, you agree that during your use of the Service and forever after your last use, you will not:

• Build, invest in, or advise any service that directly competes with Return It To Me's core lost-and-found QR platform
• Solicit or recruit Return It To Me's customers or employees for a competing business
• Use the platform to test, benchmark, or reverse-engineer our system for competitive purposes
• Copy, replicate, or substantially imitate the Return It To Me business model, user flow, or product design for a competing service

This clause does not restrict your general right to work in the technology sector, only the specific use of insights gained through this platform to create a directly competing service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, user interface design, QR system architecture, software code, and product names — is the exclusive property of Return It To Me and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for its intended personal purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without our prior written consent.

Your personal profile data and content you upload remain yours. You grant us a license to store and display it for the purpose of operating the Service.

8. Payment Terms

• All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Prices are as listed on the website in USD. All prices include applicable taxes where required.
• Subscription renewals (where applicable) are charged annually at the renewal rate stated at time of purchase.
• Physical product orders are subject to our Shipping Policy.
• Digital plan fees are non-refundable once the account is activated and QR profiles are created.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy matters to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service you confirm you have read and agree to the Privacy Policy.

10. Finder Submissions and Anonymous Communication

When a finder submits information through a QR scan, that information is used solely to connect the finder with the item owner. Finder data is not sold, shared beyond the item owner, or used for marketing. Finders who choose to remain anonymous will have their identity protected from the owner — only a chat link will be provided. Both parties consent to this limited data exchange when they submit or register.

11. Limitation of Liability

We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Lost items will be found or returned
• Notifications will be delivered in all circumstances

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Return It To Me's total liability for any claim arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to the Service or other users. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately. The Non-Compete clause (Section 6) survives termination.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

For customers residing in the United States, these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.

For all other customers worldwide, these Terms are governed by applicable laws and any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of The Hague (Netherlands).

Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings are initiated.

14. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
