End User License Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, purchasing a product, or using any feature of RtnIt2.me ("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

This EULA is a legal agreement between you ("User") and RtnIt2.me. It governs your use of our platform, mobile experience, QR code system, and all related services.

2. Description of Service

RtnIt2.me provides a QR-code-based lost and found service. Users register items by attaching a unique QR code (via stamp, sticker, or keychain). When a finder scans the code, the registered owner receives notifications. The Service facilitates communication between finders and owners while protecting the privacy of both parties.

3. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial lost and found purposes in accordance with this EULA.

You may not: sublicense, sell, resell, or transfer the Service; modify or create derivative works; reverse engineer any part of the Service; use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

5. QR Codes and Unique Codes

Each unique code issued is tied to your account. You may not transfer, sell, or reassign a code without our permission. Codes are issued on a per-account basis and are the property of RtnIt2.me. If your account is terminated, codes associated with it may be deactivated.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm any other user or finder
• Submit false lost or found reports
• Collect finder personal data beyond what is necessary for the return of an item
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including privacy laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account

7. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this EULA by reference. By using the Service you consent to the collection and processing of data as described therein.

Finder data (name, phone, email, location) submitted through the contact form is processed on your behalf. You are the data controller for finder data and must handle it in accordance with applicable privacy law, including GDPR.

8. Notifications

By using the Service, you consent to receive WhatsApp, SMS, and email notifications relating to scans, finder submissions, and account activity. You may configure notification preferences in your dashboard. Transactional notifications (e.g., scan alerts) cannot be fully disabled on paid plans as they are core to the Service.

9. Payments, Plans, and Refunds

Setup fees are one-time and non-refundable after the code has been issued and the account activated. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; no partial-month refunds are provided. Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis within 14 days of purchase if no items have been found via the Service.

Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will not be charged more than their locked-in rate for the duration of a paid annual subscription.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software within the Service are owned by or licensed to RtnIt2.me. Nothing in this EULA grants you any right to use our intellectual property except as expressly permitted.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT LOST ITEMS WILL BE FOUND OR RETURNED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF FINDERS OR THIRD PARTIES.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RTNIT2.ME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach this EULA, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR rights.

14. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

15. Changes to This EULA

We may update this EULA from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated EULA.
